UX Case Study

Crafted in 2022 for:

Furrypoint Mascot

Why Mascot?

A mascot is a personified character symbolizing a brand or company, originating from the French word "mascotte" (lucky charm). Used in UX design and marketing, mascots evoke positive emotions, enhance engagement, and drive conversions.

Project Overview

A mascot can enhance user experience, simplify interactions, and strengthen brand identity. However, its success depends on strategic use - appearing at the right moments to guide and delight without overwhelming users.

Problem Statement

Portfolio managers struggled with AtlasX's limited data integration and slow efficiency. To address this, the R&D team and I developed an autonomous system to streamline data collection and deal management.

My Contribution

Delighting users goes beyond functionality. I introduced a company mascot to enhance emotional connection, designed it in 3D with Blender, and integrated it thoughtfully into key interactions for an enriched experience.

Early Stage Research

In this project, I researched when mascots appear in digital systems and strategically placed them at key points like onboarding, error messages, and confirmations. This humanized the system, eased frustration, and added moments of delight to routine interactions.

Outcome

This approach not only added a layer of fun but also improved user retention by making the product more memorable and engaging.
